Come join us in one of Michigan’s most happening cities for a week of Improv festival loving at the Grand Rapids Improv Festival (GRIF). The GRIF will be held October 17th-October 24th in Downtown Grand Rapids! Our home base for the week will be DogStory Theater, with fun events across downtown throughout the week.

Grand Rapids Improv enthusiasts and troupes have come together to create an even bigger festival with more time for performing, teaching, networking, and most importantly getting weird. We’re excited to bring together local and national talent to the city that we love. We’re also excited for others to come experience the fantastic city that Grand Rapids is.

We look forward to bringing in everything we learned last year to create an even more dynamic event. We’re keeping some of the ‘not to miss’ events of past years like Improv Chaos, a Night of Improv, and the Children’s Festival, whilst throwing in some new crowd pleasers with a night hilariously exploring downtown, specialty workshops, and Comedy Outlet Monday bookends of the festival (a local weekly improv favorite).
